Fingerprint Attendance Verification System provides an identification of a person based on the recognition of unique patterns in a fingerprint. Within the database, a fingerprint is matched to a password which is then matched to a person’s account. In instances of security the match is generally used to allow or disallow access.
Fingerprint Verification System: Controls the operation of the system.
Security System: Fingerprint is directly related to security whether someone can have access to the system or not.
Password Processing Controller: Controls all information concerning the password.
Read Password: When password is ask, the user input the password then the system read it.
Compare with file: System will compare password with file/database which contains all details about the user and where original password is stored.
Unaccepted password: If password is not accepted, the system will display a message informing the user that the password is incorrect.
Re-input password: Password should be re-input for check.
Wrong password: Password is not accepted again.
Siren: The system will emits an audible warning informing that an intruder is suspected.
Fingerprint Request: If password is accepted, there will be a request for fingerprint.
Input fingerprint: Put finger for analysis.
Read Image and Open Image data: Image will be read and after that it will open image data file where fingerprints are recorded.
Store data in Fingerprint Verification System Image Format: Image and details will be recorded and stored.
Fingerprint Matching: The system will compare the input with the file where data are recorded and saved.
Output System: System inform the user if access is accepted or denied.
Controller information system: The system keeps the user's file ready to be updated after fingerprints and password accepted.
Record In/Out Hours: Once fingerprints are accepted, the system will record at what time the user have reached office and even before leaving office fingerprints should be input so as to record the departure time.
Work hours database: While recording the In/Out time, this will be stored in the work hours database.
Accounting department: The work hours database will help the accounting department to calculate the salary together with the overtime.
Human Resource Department: Keep updated report on attendance of each staff and departure/arrival time will be well monitored.
